General specifications
- All the Questions are objective type only and each question has only one right answer- No descriptive questions
- The module is required for class- 1st to 12th, each consisting of 8 sections with around 60 pupils per section
- The module is currently required for any subjects: General Knowledge, Maths and Scripture (moral science- Christian religion oriented teachings)
- The module should be implemented in the LAN environment
- Total marks per given exam/test session should be in the control of the examiner
- Duration of the exam/test session should be in the hands of the examiner
- Selection of the syllabus(chapters-divisions) for the given subject should be in the control of the examiner
- The module should freeze on the expiry of the time set by the examiner- a warning to the students before 5 mins is appreciated
- The Module should auto generate the questions randomly per test/exam session
- Equal importance should be given for every chapter (as much possible)
- Same question paper should not be repeated across all 8 sections of the class
- A reference question paper for the given exam/test session should be saved for retrieval at a later point of time probably along with the details- class, section, subject, chapters and divisions, timings etc.
- Automatic generation of examination result should be enabled- it should be visible only to the examiner
- The students are expected to log into the module using their Roll numbers
- Instant generation of question paper just before the examination is preferred
- No negative marks involved in the examination/test
- Suppose if the system (PC) switches off in the middle of the exam for a student, then it is appreciated if the module retrieves the data of the answered questions along with the answers chosen by the student
- The students should be able to change the answers for the questions once answered
- No question in the question paper should go unanswered, the students should attempt all the questions and the answers should be unique
- The examination result must not be viewable by the students
